'American Jesus' is the last part of the 'Trinity' series. It was painted in 2000 and has been shown in several galleries in Arizona. I was only 17 when I painted it and, having never taken an art class, I had little to no concept of 'shadow' or 'perspective'. Regardless, the painting is supposed to look fairly one dimensional and comic-ish. The detail along the side is a large list of coporations that have contributed to some form of distruction- social, environmental, political, etc. The title is taken from my favorite Bad Religion song at the time.
