'Deprivation' was painted in 2001 and has never been displayed. There is lace work around the edge (see in Side View) and the short poem surrouding the figure reads: "Subconscious extradition/ Always in the back of my mind/ Misplaced portrait of deprivation." The 'model' for this painting was my long-distance boyfriend at the time.
