'Patron Saint of Nothing' is the second painting in the 'Trinity' series. It's based upon images of the Virgin Mary (obviously) and the title is taken from a line out of the PJ Harvey song ;The WInd'. The halo was done in a very shiny mettalic paint and the edges of the canvas are detailed with roses (seen in the Bottom and Side views). This is my favorite out of the series, despite the lumpyness of the body and the badly done 'sacred lighter'. I was quite new to painting and the supplies I had at the time were... less than professional. While this painting would look a lot better if I did it today, I still love it.
