'Silence' was started in 2003 and finished in 2004. It's one of my more recent paintings, and yes, I'm still using acrylic craft paint. I got the idea for this peice from a lipstick ad in a Glamour magazine. Although the painting looks almost exactly like the photograph, few people recognize the shape when they first see the it.
